Welcome to the Upper Elementary!

We have an excellent staff and we are so excited to serve your child's academic needs.  Research indicates that student academic success is greatly influenced by parent involvement.  We strongly believe in and encourage parental involvement and hope that you contact your child’s teacher soon to find ways to help volunteer and become involved in your child’s education. All volunteers must sign the Volunteer Agreement and check in at the office each day.

There are a few items that we need your help with in order to ensure the safety of your child and his/her academic success.  Please note the following:

School begins promptly at 8:00 and ends at 3:30.  If your student arrives after 8:00 a.m., you must check him/her in at the office.  If you need to pick up your student before 3:30 p.m., you must check him/her out through the office as well.  Attendance is a MUST so please make arrangements for outside appointments after school hours. If your students needs to eat breakfast at school, he/she should be at school at 7:40 a.m. to allow plenty of time in the cafeteria. Make all after school transportation arrangements PRIOR to your child coming to school.  Calls to the office to inform staff if your child is a bus rider or car rider causes confusion and interruption to the classroom. Please return all required forms sent home with your child in a timely fashion.
